Mantova Hub is a strategic project of redevelopment of underutilized, abandoned and degraded spaces for about 90,000 m², located between the naturalistic area of the lakes of Mantova and the historical center of the city. Among the four new squares envisaged by the project, “Piazza del Pensiero” (Ex Ceramics Area) has been entirely redeveloped under the sign of sustainability with the use of WICONA windows and doors and CIRCAL alloy by our Partner Dalan SRL. The complex in question is a decommissioned industrial area that included the old production pole called “Ex Ceramica Mantovana” within which is located the disused building “Ex Ceramica,” the only factory in early 20th century Mantua, which characterized with its chimneys the working-class neighbourhood south of the city. The new central building will be used to build a technical school for a capacity of about 1,000 students with reception, teaching, library, refreshment and relaxation areas, a lecture hall with a maximum capacity of 140 seats, offices, presidency, and meeting rooms.
