WICTEC 50SG - integrated pressure profile
The SG design solution for structural glazing from the WICTEC 50 range offers the classic look and feel of structural glazing while limiting costs thanks to the integrated pressure profile. The reduction in projections of the profiles allows maximum transparency. WICONA's WICTEC 50SG design allows architects, designers and specifiers to quickly and easily create classic grid-look curtain wall extensions. For greater creative freedom, this solution is available in flush installation (by milling the edge of the glazing) or in a low projection (projection of 4mm pressure profile from the exterior glass using conventional glazing).

SYSTEM OVERVIEW OF WICTEC 50SG
- Minimum exterior views with 43mm and 51mm pressure profile widths
- Two possibilities: with a projection of the pressure profile of 4 mm from the outer glass using conventional glazing or completely flush with the outer surface of the glazing by milling the edge of the glazing
- Standard construction of a grid-look curtain wall with an exterior appearance similar to structural glazing
- Replaces the silicone gasket of a conventional SG system, which means no gluing / gasketing is necessary, no
technical approval is required, the exterior visual quality is uniform and it it is possible to use standard double or triple glazing - Same production and assembly as standard WICTEC 50 curtain wall
- Drainage by reliable overlap at the crossing point, without mechanical treatment of the uprights, for a tested and guaranteed tightness
