WICONA has design the WICSOLAIRE solar protection range to meet contemporary architectural needs in terms of controlling incoming energy and heat. The WICSOLAIRE solar shading can be held on an independent structure and complements the shading integrated into the curtain walling by offering a solution that can be adapted to all types of existing constructions. The variety of shapes, sizes, colours and orientation available allows the independent solar shading to meet the requirements of each individual project in renovation and new build scenarios. From a technical standpoint, the WICSOLAIRE shading on an independent structure offers slats of differing dimensions, with optional horizontal or vertical orientation and complementary slat holders with fixed or variable angles. This modularity allows the system to fully control the input of exterior light with the aim of combining energy savings and user comfort with everything remaining aesthetically pleasing whilst maintaining visual contact with the exterior of the building. For optimal level of comfort, the orientation of the solar shading slats can also be adjusted by motor.
