WICTEC 50 HI - Passive House Curtain Wall
Without an active heating system, a passive building depends heavily on the thermal insulation and airtightness of its facade, two key elements of its passivity. The WICTEC 50HI range (for High Isolation) is based on WICONA's standard offer to provide construction professionals with a facade solution in aluminum and glass certified passive building. Based on classic references, which present at least two major advantages, one aesthetic, the other financial. Indeed, by adopting the WICTEC 50 system, the WICTEC 50HI range is suitable for the construction of passive buildings at a lower additional cost. The thermal insulation even exceeds the benchmark requirements of a passive building, with a Uf value of 0.65 W / (m²K). These exceptional results are possible thanks to the use of triple glazing and easy-to-install thermal break profiles. On the aesthetic level, the pure and uniform lines of the facades are preserved. The passive building curtain wall system WICTEC 50HI is certified by the IFT Institute Rosenheim (Window Technical Institute) as a component for passive buildings according to the IFT Guidance Document RI WA 15/1, with a Ucw value of 0.7 W / (m²K).
