Top-class stand design, exciting new products, engaging discussion and in-depth technical seminars provided visitors to the WICONA stand a multi-faceted experience of attractive solutions for urban evolution.
The stand concept, with its centrally located "Central Park", was dominated by an upside-down building structure, gleaming mirrored surfaces to draw the eye upwards and externally positioned exhibits which sparked great enthusiasm among the exhibition guests.
Open on all sides and perfectly accessible, the exhibition stand was a pure invitation to discover new innovations. Internationality was shown by the vast crowds on the stand from the very start of the exhibition - global professional visitors ranging from North American, Europe and South-east Asia were all present and engaged.
In terms of content, the launch of CIRCAL 75R by Hydro took centre stage. Ralf Seufert, Chairman of the Board, said "With this initiative, we are getting directly into the reuse end-of-life aluminium in our production cycle. We aim to switch to this alloy for 40% of the WICONA range. By doing this, we will save around 20,000 tonnes of CO² per year and reduce our CO² footprint by 30%."
In terms of products and systems, visitors showed great interest in the WICSLIDE 75FD and WICSLIDE 150 PS sliding door solutions. In focus were the new generation of WICTEC EL element facade and the WICLINE 70SG structural glazing window range.
